Unlock the NoMore Injector Formula

Quick Answer

Obtain the NoMore formula by continuing Li Bei Wen's storyline instead of reporting him. After his first unreported visit, he returns three days later for Chemical Supplies. Providing Common or Restricted supplies shortens the wait for his final visit, when he gives you the formula and two high-purity NoMore Injectors.

The formula is knowledge for making the chemical, not a replacement for chemistry equipment. To produce your own injector, you still need a dry mixture containing at least four millilitres of NoMore and the Chem Finisher. Keep obtaining the instructions and successfully making the product as separate milestones.

Keep the researcher available for later visits

Li Bei Wen is a wanted researcher, so the first decision is whether to collect his bounty or preserve his continuing story. Reporting him at any visit ends that storyline. If your aim is the formula reward, do not report him during those encounters.

The earliest listed visit is day fourteen, or day five with Skip Intro. This is an earliest opportunity in the wanted-visitor system, not a fixed appointment that every run must meet. Recognize the visitor and read his dialogue rather than assuming you have missed the recipe because he did not appear on one expected day.

Li Bei Wen

Do not report him if you want the final formula reward.

Li Bei Wen's named storyline matters here. Another visitor selling medicine or a NoMore sample is not necessarily the researcher whose final reward includes the formula. Match the character and follow his request before deciding what stock to retain.

This is a real choice between outcomes. The listed bounty is four hundred Credits, but reporting him for that reward closes the route described here. You should not assume you can collect the bounty first and then receive the same final research reward as though the arrest were unrelated.

Prepare Common and Restricted Chemical Supplies

After the first unreported visit, Li Bei Wen returns three days later for Chemical Supplies. Both Common and Restricted variants can help progress the research timing. Keep the actual supply items available for his request rather than opening every crate as soon as it enters your inventory.

The distinction between the crate and its contents is practical. Common supplies unpack into useful chemistry materials, including Alcohol, Lipobond Agent, Acid and Base. Restricted supplies unpack into N-Methylol Base and Reducing Agent. Those loose chemicals support production, but the research request names Chemical Supplies.

If you intend to use a supply item for Li Bei Wen, do not assume that unpacking it and retaining the bottles leaves an identical request item behind. Decide which crates are reserved for the encounter and which ones you are opening for your workshop.

The two variants also have different effects on the wait. A Restricted supply counts for a greater reduction than a Common supply. That does not mean you must use only Restricted supplies; both types are relevant, and your available stock determines what you can provide.

Use the supply request to shorten the final wait

The reference wait for the final visit starts at seventeen days. Each Common supply provided reduces it by four days, while each Restricted supply reduces it by seven. The shortest wait is two days.

Research supportEffect on the listed wait
Each Chemical Supplies CommonFour days sooner
Each Chemical Supplies RestrictedSeven days sooner
Multiple accepted suppliesReductions apply toward the minimum
Minimum possible waitTwo days
No supplies provided at the requestHe tries again after seven days

Do not read a large supply contribution as a promise that the final conversation happens immediately. The two-day minimum remains. Once you have shortened the wait to that point, further arithmetic should not produce a zero-day or negative-day return.

These timings describe the character's research sequence. They are not the Chem Finisher's production time or a deadline to consume the reward injectors. Keep the calendar associated with Li Bei Wen's visits separate from the nights your machines need to process a chemical batch.

If you have no supplies when he asks, the documented response is another attempt after seven days. That is different from reporting him, which ends the storyline. An empty request encounter and a Security arrest should not be treated as the same failure state.

Reserve supplies without stopping your workshop

There is an opportunity cost to giving the researcher materials you could otherwise unpack. Common supplies support several ordinary chemistry steps, while Restricted supplies contain the Reducing Agent used in more advanced recipes. Reserve deliberately instead of assuming the same crate can serve both purposes.

A useful inventory arrangement is to keep unopened research supplies distinct from opened reagent bottles. This is a planning choice, not a hidden game mechanic: it simply makes it easier to see whether you can answer the next visit without sacrificing ingredients already needed for a current batch.

Chemical Supplies Restricted

Reserve unopened supply items for the research request.

If you are already producing chemicals, check the next batch's needs before committing every available supply. Helping Li Bei Wen can shorten the route to the formula, but a workshop with no remaining solvent or reagents still needs restocking afterward.

Do not buy a second set of chemistry machines solely because the research visit is taking time. More machines do not speed up the character's supply-based return formula. Equipment investment and research support address different parts of the overall task.

Receive the formula at the final visit

At the last encounter, Li Bei Wen gives you the NoMore formula and two injectors with purity in the ninety-nine to one-hundred-percent range. Read the formula item before selling or storing it among ordinary notes.

The instruction item can appear under a Handnote category, while the storyline names it as Li Bei Wen's NoMore Formula. The meaningful part is the content: it explains the chemical reaction associated with the injector. Do not discard it because a generic inventory category sounds less important than a formal recipe book.

Receiving two finished injectors is also distinct from producing your own. The samples show the reward product, but they do not fill your machine with its active chemical. If you want a repeatable supply, you must follow the production process after obtaining the instructions.

There is no need to invent a separate research bench, experience-level requirement or recipe chip. This route is built around the character encounters and the formula he provides. Read what the final visit actually gives you before looking for an unrelated unlock screen.

Prepare to use the formula in a chemistry setup

NoMore uses Dream Cap Extract, Reducing Agent and Lipobond Agent. The reaction requires a temperature from forty-five to fifty-five degrees Celsius with no more than ten percent Alcohol in the mixture.

That condition explains why obtaining the note is only part of the job. A large quantity of leftover extraction solvent can prevent the intended later reaction. Likewise, a suitable ingredient list does not help if the heater is outside the required temperature range.

The Chemistry route is available from a Chemist start or the Retired Chemist unlock. The main tools are the Blender, Heating Plate, Evaporator and Chem Finisher, with a Composition Spectrometer for inspecting what is inside the container. You need the tools appropriate to the stages you are performing, not merely the finished injector as a reference item.

The Heating Plate's control is particularly relevant for a narrow temperature window. Chemical Equipment Modules change its capabilities; they are the special upgrades used by the Blender, Heating Plate and Chem Finisher. Ordinary Evaporator modules serve a different machine role.

Check active NoMore before finishing an injector

The Chem Finisher needs at least four millilitres of NoMore in a dry container for one injector. It packages the active chemical you supply; it does not automatically carry out the earlier reaction just because you select the product name.

Nomore Injector

Your own injector still requires dry NoMore in the Chem Finisher.

Use the Composition Spectrometer to confirm that NoMore actually formed. A container that still holds mostly Dream Cap Extract or Reducing Agent is not equivalent to the target reagent. Total mixture volume alone does not tell you how many injectors can be produced.

The share of NoMore sets the finished item's purity grade. A completed output therefore does not guarantee that your product matches the purity of Li Bei Wen's reward samples. Filtering, leftover chemicals and the Finisher's own contamination can affect the result.

If the Finisher warns about wet ingredients, continue the required drying step. If it warns about insufficient reagent, check the actual NoMore amount and the selected recipe. Neither warning means the character formula failed to unlock; they concern the batch currently in the machine.

Diagnose a missing formula from the last completed encounter

If Li Bei Wen has not returned for supplies, count from the first unreported visit rather than a guessed global calendar date. If he asked but you supplied nothing, look for the later retry. If you did provide supplies, use the research wait and its minimum to understand why the final reward is not necessarily immediate.

If you reported him, recognize that the research storyline has ended. Buying loose chemicals afterward does not recreate the same character route. If you already received the formula but cannot finish an injector, switch from encounter troubleshooting to checking temperature, Alcohol content, dry input and active NoMore.

The route is complete when you receive the formula at his final visit. A successful workshop batch is the next task. Keeping those two outcomes separate makes it clear whether you need another character encounter, an unopened supply crate, or a correction to the chemistry already underway.
